As you all probably already know, the future is not very bright for PC gamers who want to play Modern Warfare 2.

And when you think about it, it is not really that surprising ... Since CoD (yes, the "1"), support for mods and custom maps, even if present, was very spare: custom maps never appeared in the interface in the map list; it is impossible to define easily a mapcycle; you need a mod of a mod to be able to do free-fly correctly. NO effort whatsoever has been made to improve this situation in the multiple iterations of the game.

Anyway, Modern Warfare 2 has one merit. Instead of having half-assed functionalities, it is very explicit: no mods, no custom maps, even no dedicated servers.

What can you do then ? Signing the petition is already a good start. But hit where it really hurts, it's even better. Speak with your wallet !

So, if you think, like we do, that MW2 is a scandal, don't buy it, either on PC or console.
