Industrial settings with all the usual industrial stuff are common to many CSS maps. This genre is featuring some maps with excellent gameplay such as de_season and de_strata.
Why is this setting so popular? There are many reason but the most obvious one is all the elements (textures, props, models...) are already available. Another reason is probably that if you're doing some incoherent layout, it will be harder to notice on industrial map than on a house map. Thus, you can focus on the gameplay even if you have to do some sacrifices on the realistic aspect of the map.
This map prove it once again: the layout is a pure pretext to offer a brutal, efficient and varied gameplay. Let's give it a try.
