People made many De_Dust and De_Dust 2 -like maps trying, with various results, to do as well as the original ones. We think most failed because of the layout of buildings being not efficient enough.
This map is, according to us, the only one in the Dust genre to successfully copy the efficient layout, high level of details and tremendous gameplay founding the two originals. Simply because it’s been made by Mister De_Dust and De_Dust 2 himself ;-).
I still can’t figure out what “PCG” stands for, but I know “DE_DUST_PCG”, as well as “Dave Johnston” stand for something like “How about a perfect, well built, map for plenty of insane perfect frags?”.
An optimized .NAV file by Barndoor (site) exists. It is included in the archive.
