This map took a while before publishing because it didn't pass the preliminary tests. Maybe I was in a bad mood that day: Yeah, not that bad, but there are those glitches in the textures (some misplaced env_cubemaps), and the layout is too basic and not coherent enough for such a realistic map.
Fortunately, from time to time, I do a second pass on maps rejected-you-don't-know-why-when-you-really-think-about-it. I was unclear to what I should do with it, so I decided to do the Trial That Should Always Be: play it on a server with 16 players during a lan party.
And then I had to answer this embarrassing question:
- Why is this map not on the web site ?
- Errr ...
- You don't like it ?
- Yes, yes ...
- You like it ?!
- Yes, it's terrific.
- So, wadda waitin' for ?
- Nothing ...
