You won't find any visual coherency in this map. Obviously, Pit knows squat about a graphical chart, he doesn't give a s*** and it shows. You go from a rusty kitchen à-la Halflife 2 to a wet grotto via a concrete bunker of some sort. At first you're thinking: WTF !!
But, there is some cues that start to caught your attention: the radar is really well done; there is a 3D skybox; even the textures are properly aligned. And this is the sort of things you won't never find on a crappy map.
And when you play, you have to admit that, in a surprising way ;), the final result works wonderfully. Even if the brushwork is sometimes basic, the design of the map offers an astonishing series of ways, alleys, passages, traps, ... We are very far from the classic two or three possible ways you found usually on CS:S maps. But the best part is that you don't spend hours finding each others because the map is rather small and the connection between the various places is such that you can very quickly goes from one place to another. The gameplay is thus extremely quick , stressful, due to the threat that can possibly come from everywhere and every games will look different.
A map that clearly is much more appealing that what might suggest the screenshots.
And a map with some Billy Idol in it can't be a bad map !
