About this site and the netday team

The www.netday.be team is made of a dozen people gathering together every six months to make LAN parties. These parties span over 5 days, non-stop. We started this biannual frag fair back in 1998 (!) and we basically play FPS video games and some STRs. From time to time, a race car server is launched and succeeds in getting a few of us in...

Huge Counter-Strike fans, we followed the mod from the very begining starting with beta version 0.5 or 0.6 (+/-). We always try to find high quality maps in order to renew the fun we have playing our favorite games, CS leading.

www.netday.be was made in this sense.

The goal of this website is to playtest a maximum of maps (mainly Counter-Strike: Source related) in order to make the best available for you, "perfect maps for perfect frags" or so they say, the cream of the crop, maps "with sugar on top", maps you won't regret to have installed on your computer. We don't want to end up like numerous websites out there, listing thousands of shitty so-called "maps", loaded with annoying advertisement popups, forcing registration to allow download, etc... We just want to give you the best maps available. Period! To put it another way, you could read: "If we don't talk about it, then it's not worth trying it! ;-)"

Along these lines, games and mods listed in our headlines will have been thoroughly playtested and reviewed by ourselves. We won't waste our time talking about a game or a mod that's just so-so, or about a map that is just another ordinary map.
